Why is the app locked?

If you find that your guides or tools are locked, it usually means that a subscription has expired. Follow the steps below to check your status and restore access.


1. Check your Subscription Status

To see if your plan is still active or has expired, navigate to your account settings:

  • If you are a Web user: Go to Profile → Settings → Subscription.

  • If you are an iOS user: Go to iPhone Settings → Account → Subscriptions.

  • If you are an Android user: Go to Google Play Store → Profile Icon → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions.


Note: If you see that your subscription has ended, you will need to renew it to unlock the content. You can find full details in our Subscription Terms.



2. Payment Renewal Issues

Coursiv operates on a subscription basis. If your introductory offer ended and the automatic renewal failed, access will be locked. Common reasons for failed renewals include:

  • Expired payment method.

  • Insufficient funds.

  • Bank security blocks on international transactions.



3. Special Add-ons (AI Tools)

If your main Guides are open but AI tools are locked, you may need the Unlimited AI Tools add-on. This is a separate purchase that provides unlimited access to advanced models directly inside the app.
